So far so good. Nice video. :)

You guys I am absolutely loving this set up.

Today I came home from work and all the fish come to the front of the tank and greet me. I fed them and all the cichlids and 2 Senegals are eating together at the top with zero aggression. How cool is that?

now that i see your docile dovii i want to try to talk my wife into letting me get a baby to raise in my community tank and move to my pond when it reaches 5-6"

I know that feeling. It's a most awesome feeling. I'm really glad this is working out so far. It's like I can't wait to see what happens next. Not because I think this dovii will flip out, but because I want to see how he interacts with the jag and grammodes. You've got me hanging on your every post, lol.:grinno::screwy::D And that's not an easy thing to do, I bore easily. :)

You've got a very very very uncommon temprement in that dovii - I'd suggest anyone wanting to do the same be extremely cautious or try it out with fish you don't care about first.

mine is 7" and im surprised he hasn't broken his back hitting the glass lol.

I've let a cichlids go that were like that. I like a multiple-cichlid tank and can't deal with serial killers.

Thanks TF, it's nice to have someone who can sympathize with you. I'm praying the Dovii doesn't flip out. Even if he ends up working out in the long run, I still have to worry about the Grammodes' future. He's right about 7" now. By this time next year, he'll probably be a good 10"+, thick, beefy and full of attitude.
