I agree exotics, non natives can be bad but not in Miami Canals . Ofcourse snakeheads-walking catfish a few others can be bads but cichlids any type the more the better lol.
Miami canals if not for the cichlids would be mosquito infested .
While sitting 2 hours waiving a baited hook in front of an oscars face while they just stared without biting lol.
I noticed how many mosquitos the danios and convicts took while the mosquito fish were so so.
The city is suppossed to add a certain amount of mosquito fish every 6 months because birds ,sunfish,etc eat them by the drones but being this inept place the way it is they havent added any in years .
Thank God for cichlids or we would be eaten alive
