My First Kelberi Batch

This is my first Kelberi batch and love seeing them mature. I bought them at a LFS 4 months ago and took a while getting them from live to dry food, but the time spent is well worth it. As you can see I added plants a couple of weeks ago and got the biggest one really stressed out. Took him a while to get back to normal. Wondering how they will turn out when they are fully grown.

Thay tank looks awesome, wish i had that driftwood. Are you sure these guys are kelberi? They look very similar to mine and i was under the impression mine were mono.

Thanks for the comment! Driftwood gets expensive but definitely makes the tank stand out. The bass love hiding under it. I'm 90% sure they are Kelberi. The LFS is specializes in peacock bass. He has all kinds from Xingus, to Monos to hybrids. What do you guys think? Kelberi or Mono?

How big are yours? Here's a pic of mine, the larger one is around 7-8"

They are kelberis. Monos usually have minimal to not a spangle. That's why they charge so much for for kelberis.

They're kelberi, look like Bahia. minimonsterkeeper your bass aren't kelberi look at the difference in the head and body shape, the bars, the tail markings.

Mono or possibly hybrids
