sorry matey wouldnt take it unless its £15 quid! thats what i can get them for! see if you can sell him to someone close first? i have a courier i use for my fish and its best part of £30 sameday delivery

the motoro looks really healthy to me. looks like he struck with his barb. try to disturb him as little as possible while the barb is stil visible, and if you have to move him, slowly scurry him into a submerged bucket, no nets! he has tons of spots! good genes! as far as R09, not sure, ask a more experienced rayer on here if its important to you. has he eate yet?
have you thought about using pond liner? its much easiet to work with, takes a fraction of the time, doesn't smell, and is cheaper!

i have looked at a few of the pondliner ponds on here and the finishing looks bad compared to the epoxy and a silicone seal due to the way it has to be clamped shut to stop it leaking! if i can pull mine off it will be a work of art! LOL

so you think his barb is stuck??? what should i do?

i have applied the pond paint tonight, the only bad thing was i have silicone finger prints over the base which the epoxy will not adhere to so they will be filled tomoz with wood filler and then i have another coat of epoxy to go on in maybe 2 days when the filler is hard!

going to start the stand now have the wood for the top of the stand and the base but not the legs as they werent in stock so hopefully completion tomoz

ok mate will post some pics in a bit havent got any further than the filler on the outside and the inside has changed colour lol,
and i gotta go pic some wood filler up off my mate as all diy places closed! crummy country 24-7 diy merchants is what we need!!!

and the only bad thing about the construction of this project is that it is all taking place in my front room!!! its a f'ing sh1t hole in here, and now with 15 lenghts of 4x2pse timber!!!

its too late for the pond liner but just so you know for your next project you can make it look better than epoxy sealents. i cut a piece for each side, adhere it to the board, and seal the corners with goop, which is much harder and more durable than silicone. this way you can get an even finish with much less time and money, and no folds like you see in some tanks!
i don't mean his barbs stuck, just visible, again, just ask a ray expert becuase i have little experience with rays.
can't wait to see the progress!
