should i drain 50% of 90g tonight and replace with 240g water?
then tomorrow night do the same
then that night or next move him without aclimating?
thanks for all the help.

i dont see a garbage bag holding up to a pissed monster aro but thanks for tip.lol

The more times you can exchange water between the two tanks the closer they will become to having the same water. When removing the aro from the 90g lower the water down to about 7-8", less chance of your aro launching into outer space:) The pillow case may work, but getting him to swim into may be a problem. If you have help, getting him to swim over a towel and then picking up all four corners, to "sling" him in the towel has worked quite well for me.

if i get the temps exact,do i still have to aclimate?
"this is before i move 240 water to the 90"
i will be aclimating the aro by moving water but was curious about the jag

Besides temp the only other real concern would be pH levels. If you are doing a water swap I would think you'd be fine.

put the jag in a 5 gallon bucket and acclimate him. You do frequaent W/Cs so your water params most likely are gonna be real close between the two tanks.

You're on the right track.

update

looked back, almost to the day its been a month since i seen him eat. :(

just drained about 50% of the current tank and re filled it with water from the 240.
then put fresh water in the 240.
going to let him aclimate today and hopefully on x mas night he will be moved.

he freaked out during w/c and made me think, this will be fun when im moving him. :grinno:

there just so cute at 4" but not so cute at 24"

also added a lil pbass to the 240 lol
