We bought the large from the pleco feeder site for the 35g but it doesn’t work on our 120g so I need ideas

The top of our tank has a cutout (pic) which would require this to bend-which we can do but it’s still much too short and doesn’t really get into the corner he likes to eat in
I emailed the company to ask for something bigger but I’m not holding my Breath. Ideas?
***No twine- our fish hurt themselves... ***

Thanks

I would think you could just make one for a lot cheaper. Use a bare coat hanger or some of the really long marshmallow skewers in the camping sections. Modify it as you please

See if you can locally source the stainless steel and make a custom.

After a short period of time my shy sailfin will eat off mine no matter where they are placed in the tank.

I skewer mine on the wood decorations in the tank.

Then you have to fish out the leftovers right? The easy part of the other feeder (particularly considering my mobility issues) is that part of the feeder is always hanging over/outside of the tank.

Get a fork, tie some fishing line to it, tie something to the other end of the fishing line that you can grab, a rock maybe, stab the food with the fork, toss the fork in the water. When it’s time to take the fork out all you have to do is grab whatever you tied the end of the string to and pull the fork out. Simple problem and a simple solution.

I know you mentioned not wanting to use twine and similar string like items so what about an acrylic wreath hanger? You may be able to heat up the hook loop portion of the hanger with a heat gun so it can fit over the acrylic opening and you can hang the pleco feeder to the other end of the hanger with a clothes pin.
