I generally had an endlich but now I have a group of polypterus that I really like them. I will update their video/photo that I can do;

28 cm endlich is with me for almost 6 months others are new max. 1 month. "Delhezi" (the seller says it is delhezi but I am not sure) has come this morning. Could you id both of them pls (00:51 in video, as linked)

Polypterus endlicheri ~25cm / 15cm
Polypterus delhezi (!) ~25cm
Polypterus ornatipinnis ~28cm
Polypterus senegalus~28cm

The polys at 0:51 are Polypterus endlicheri since they are a lower jaw species. Delhezi is an upper jaw species where the upper jaw is longer.

I dont know they are WC or not. Yes, you are right both have lower jaws are longer than upper. So my corrected polypterus list is;

Polypterus endlicheri ~ 25cm/ 25cm / 15cm
Polypterus ornatipinnis ~28cm
Polypterus senegalus~28cm

what about color and head position differences? is it about endlicheri subspecies like kongo / guinea acc. to catch zone?
