No one is killing in anyone or intending to do so.

Im sorry but what about the time they rammed their boat into another vessel? That could have sunk both ships and killed people. And as far as the poaching etc. goes it is not right BUT the hunting is being done in a sustainable manner! This is why I am against the sea shepherd, they are violently fighting something that is causing no real harm and they are risking peoples lives to do so.

I disagree that the whalers aren't causing harm. They said on the last episode that the whalers have a self-imposed quota of 50 Humpback Whales. For large animals like Whales, which have high sexual maturity ages and low reproductive rates, 50 Humpbacks less every year is a HUGE chunk of the population.

I've already stated my opinion on their intentions and methods, but I do just want to add one more thing. I watched the show the other day , and I can honestly say it's one of the most boring shows I've ever seen. It's like deadliest catch, minus the exciting parts. At least the episodes I watched.

They're nothing more than pirates and are a blight on the conservation movement. If it weren't for the fact that Japan is not allowed its own standing navy they wouldn't exist. They would have suffered the fate of all pirates and been neutralized. They are all scum.

They rule!!! Only people with the balls to protect these precious mamals that are being hunted illegally so it can be eaten with wasabi and soy sauce. Dont get me wrong I love sushi and japanese cars but whales should not be on the menu! Dont you think we have destroyed enough of our prestine ecosystems!!! And I was so pissed when the Nishin Maru ramed the Ady gil and cut it in half!!! The Japs should not be making millions off of illegally HARPOONING one of earths most magnifecent creatures!!!

the populations of all whale species that are being harvested are growing steadily.

no the sea shepherd drove their boa in front of the whalers and it got run over. It would be like driving in front of a train, there was no way for the whalers to avoid the collision.

Last year the Steve Irwin collided with one of the harpoon ships, which is larger than it and ice strengthened. And that was unintentional. THIS year, the Shonan Maru II, a huge huge huge ship with a reinforced hull, rammed into the Ady Gil, which is small, delicate, and made of lightweight carbon fiber. If the Ady Gil hadn't been as close to the Barker as it was, the crew of the Ady Gil could very well have gone down with the ship. You do the math

I GOTA BELIVE THAT SENCE THEY'VE BEEN AT THIS FOR A WHILE NOW AND ENOUGH ATTENTION HAS BEEN DRAWN AND NO NATION HAS TRIED TO STOP JAPAN,THAT NO ONE WILL. THE SEA SHEPARD IS THE ONLY THING OUT THERE TRYING TO STOP THEM, THEY NEED TO STEP UP THERE GAME N DO SOME REAL DAMAGE.
