Teugelsi Growout Thread

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If anyone watches the vid: Murphy seems to have only three of his back-finlets. Is this normal at this size and they grow later on, or did he loose them somehow?

Yum Yum lol The Corydora dwarfs the little teugelsi for now.
Yes, but not for long ? .
This is my last cory and the tank was his retirement-home (because of a little accident with one of my dels...), until this tank became a growout tank for Murphy, too.
I know this won't go good for ever, but Murphy will be big enough for the larger tank, before the cory fits in its mouth.
It's just a little confusing, that Murphy seems to be looking for the corys proximity and is often sniffing on it... don't know if it's curiosity, sympathy or appetite?.

Its the dark substrate, i noticed this before with some UJ poly like del, golddust, teug and retro, the green, orange and yellow shows more in a darker substrate.

Yes, i know what you mean. I have the same substrate color in my main tank and my other polys (three dels and one pollis) developed beatiful colors on it.

I hope these pics ain't to off-topic^^.
Little side note: the pollis is my largest and also my youngest bichir. 12" and ~1,5 years old.

Because Murphy was very interested in the bloodworms, i ordered something ? .

1 x Brine Shrimp, 90 ml
1 x Blackworms, 90 ml
2 x Bloodworms, 90 ml
1 x Tubifex, 90 ml
1 x Whiteworms(?), 90 ml

(hopefully translatet correct)

A little living food trial package, so the next ~2 weeks will get interesting. I will keep you updated.
