Honestly I don't know. They are in my QT, which is a plastic 55gal barrel and since they are so small I can't see them very well at the moment. Not ideal for sure

Murphy is steady growing (currently ~6"). So i started thinking about what might be the right size to put him / her into my main Tank.
On the one hand i want to introduce Murphy as soon to my othe Polys as possible, because
  • Polys are social and Murphy is the only Poly in its tank
  • A smaller Poly maybe causes no hierarchy battles
On the other hand i am concerned because
  • My largest Poly has ~12,5" and swallowed my female EBA a few days ago ( :( )... so Murphy might fit in, too...
  • If i am wrong and there are hierarchy battles, Murphy could get hurt badly
So 2 pro and 2 con...hard to decide ?

What would you suggest?

Thanks :)
Good luck with your Teugelsis, too!
Just for interest: Do yours have all their finlets?
Moved mine to a 20 gallon so I can see them better now. They both have the same finlet issue as yours. Looks like they have maybe 4 of them near the middle of the back, and then missing some closer to the tail.

Thanks for the update!
Very interesting ?
Maybe the missing finlets are normal at this size and will grow later :)
It would be a big coincidence that 3 out of 3 have the same deformation...
If you want, you are welcome to post some pics of your teugelsis here, too ;)
