The Official Wolfmans tank thread

I’ll try and figure out how to post videos. Fry are all free swimming now, and some seem to hang in groups while others are all over the place. I haven’t had anymore casualties and most of the fry are definitely eating baby brine now, they even feed like little bass. I’m feeding 3 times a day and doing 15 percent water changes every other day. Fry are a 1/4” or around 6mm and still have small yoke sacks. Pictures are still kinda crappy but still fun to share. Thanks for following along.

Ok so the fry are two and a half weeks old and are finally large enough to get some halfway decent pictures of. Theirs about 30 total and they are all eating and pooping. I definitely have two with bent spines that will become culls. I know it’s not cool to some people but for those that have been following along I appreciate it. Your cichla are fantastic ... making me want some. The ocellaris kinda reminds me of yellow perch that I fished for as a kid. It was always my favorite fish to catch, so beautiful.

That’s outstanding. Great job at keeping them alive. I’d say you have made it past the hardest part. It should just get easier to take care of them from here.

Do you know who the mother is? Assuming Hoover is papa?
