Okay, thanks. Would you suggest going out and buying a 40 breeder rather than just moving it to the 75 gallon where I hope it can live for a long time.
 
Oh I just have 2 cheap aqua-tech 30-60 gallon filters on the back. I guess they do a pretty good job on the 55 gallon. But I'll start with changing 50%. Do you guys use aquarium salt at all. Or just dechlorinator ?
 
And its weird because I have never once seen it rub or hit the glass. It must be doing power laps when I go to bed?
 
Nope your right it just went in the back left corner and tried to "swim away". Thanks guys should I block that off or just move asap
 
Don't Buy A 40 .....Put It In The 75.....Aquarium Salt And dechlorinator Are Diff things......First Of All Your Should Be Treating Your Water Everytime You Do A Waterchanges And As Far As Salt Goes You Can Add Some To Help With The chimple
 
Yeah I treat it and have been using aquarium salt. But I've read on here that some people say don't use it just keep water clean. I've just been using both products by their instructions.
 
A tablespoon or so of salt helps with any nitrite toxicity in a newly set up tank.
