Water fleas....

PLEASE READ BOOKS ABOUT THESE TURTLES. Do it for yourself, and for the turtle.
If you "wing it" the animal will suffer. Pure and simple.

Intuitive guy you are lol

ya i didnt think you were really up to getting him a health certificate with in five days of shipping and actually packing hime for the long flight...but it was worth a try...i honestly didnt think youd do it...:)

If you are going to take it under your care, at least find some organizations or websites that do take care of them.

If I am correct... there are some aquatic plants that turtles can consume and is hardy enough to survive their damage for planted vivariums:
Arrowhead (Sagittaria sublata), Canadian Pondweed (Elodea canadensis), Common Eel Grass (Vallisneria spiralis), Crystalwort (Riccia fluitans), Hair Grass (Eleocharis acicularis), Java Fern (Microsorium pteropus), Java Moss (Vesicularia dubyana), Water Hyacinth (Eichornia sp.), Water Lettuce (Pistia stratiotes), Water Trumpet (Cryptocoryne ciliata, C. nevillii).

If you seriously want him pm me. We can maybe get something worked out.:)

just a note to all of u (mainly santoury though) if we find that we are not able to do a good job with him, we will donate him to the biology lab at the highschool where i currently attend. no, i dont mean where they will cut him up, they take in hurt animals like this. i know they have a russian tortoise who got run over by a car, and when my friends had animals they couldnt keep, the biology teacher gladly said he would take the animals, all of the animals donated to him have not died, so quite obviously, he takes care of them quite well.
