Time to try a wooden aquarium
Doing a water change as we speak. Been out of town. Other 3D backgrounds that I have done usually clear up in 3 weeks/3 changes
Yeah I know the feeling. I think I did about 4-5 big WC's on my 240 when I started it up as well to get the water clear. With my ocd I couldn't stand to wait for it to clear on it's own lol.
Slight delay. Still have the side pannels to put up, and a few foreground potters to put in. So much easier to paint on the counter. This dried in the sun all day, will epoxy tonight
Worked ob several other things while the paint dried. Plexiglass back splash for the sand fall. I learned the hard way on my last sand fall.
The blue electrical tape is almost a perfect match. Paint does not do well on pvc flex pipe.
Electrical. Manual timer prior to the power strip for the lights. I like the ease of use of the manual timers so I wired one in. Lighting times are 6 to 8 am and 5 to 9 pm.
Upper canopy. To the right, pre timed to 9 outlets. Will power all lights top and bottom. To the right nine outlets on 12/3 wire. Will power heaters, air pumps, uv filter. With the exeption of lights, the bottom has two wall outlets of its own. All will be hidden by a 4.5" riser. Still needs to be pushed back.
