Turtle's in their Tank

That original poster needs to remove that sand!
 
Let me ask you a question OP, y don't you want to put sand? if its because its a pain to clean than its as simple as buying pool filter sand. You can just drop it in and it will settle overnight and you can also do it with the turtles in the tank, it wont harm them. It is best to try to replicate the animals natural habitat but if gravel is your final decision than i respect your decision.

Yeah, I didn't really think about disease introduction at the time, just stuck him in there b/c I didn't have anywhere else to put him while his shell healed. Hopefully he didn't pick up some crazy crap from my fish. Should it occur again I'll definitely be more conscientious.

Hey, btw how big is the tank? The turtle looks tiny in it.
 
Sweet! 340 is almost large enough for one female!
