Too many remakes and dodgy franchises. They make crap movies because people keep paying to see them.
I don't think the studios care if it's a "good movie" just that it makes them money.
Yet, good movies make the most money

Right, especially when large sums of that money is donated to the war chests of dubious political figures.Lol we really feel bad for the movie industry making less $$$ hahaha

You're right.I used to be an avid book reader and I have been considering going back to that rather than looking for something suitable to watch.Exactly. Im amused at how we (not you or I , ya know what I'm saying) almost worship these actors/actress it really is funny.
I can't drive or lift anything over 4lbs (surgery) so Ive been doing nothing but watching Netflix, Amazon, and on demand movies. 75% of this stuff is complete crap. I kind of think the opposite of what OP says. Movies are Soo bad because of all the money they ARE making. They put out complete crap and for the most part still turn a profit.
I was that way last summer...it's sucks.I can't drive or lift anything over 4lbs (surgery) .
Please do because so many movies nowadays are just like a snuff film. I don't like it.
I'll add some of my favorite movies as well (in no order)Exactly, its not like these "terrible" movies are not making money, otherwise they wouldnt be there.
Blood Diamond is also on Netflix still I believe, one of my top 5 movies
Edit: Which I now feel compelled to post.
1. Gladiator
2. Shawshank Redemption
3. Spotlight
4. Titanic
5. Blood Diamond
