Mine is starting to get more and more aggressive. I had to remove my 2" gold saum cuz the jar was beating it up. It chases the pikes, but they are too fast and can hold their own (at least for now). It doesn't really bother any of the bottom fish (marbled goby and bichirs) or even the flagtail that much. It doesn't seem to like cichlids very much but isn't bad with other stuff. I might try it in my 210, but I'm not sure.

try smaller fish it always works better, but don't know what will happen once the small fish get big
and you are welcome to hijack this thread if you are giving opinions and experience of keeping your jar with other fish and any previous tries to keep them such

actually, the smallest fish (the gold saum) was the one that was getting picked on the most.

I'm going to have to try the jar in the 210 and my new silver in the 125 since it's in the delicate stage and can't go in with the larger fish yet, so I'll let you know how the jar reacts to that.

moustache Pete is really good looking... tough looking... the RD is one beautiful fish.... i have to say i really enjoyed looking at this tank and its unusual combination and i am hoping that it works out for you ...and for them...because they all really do look good together.

Yey, pics!!! My money on the shoaling fish first ^^ poor tiger barbs <sigh> ... i got my puny shoal in the 55g (predator free)

Whoaaa, VERY nice colors on the jar (red spots) - congratulations! The tanks looks huge!!

wow that was a really interesting tank to look at. All those random fish together is really something else. You dont see this everyday! lol. My moneys on the loach, he's so small and if the jar doesnt get him, I think the cichlids will lol.

hehe those tiger barbs days are numberd!

Honduran Red Point ;)

Your loach is Botia dario. I'd simply save him and get a separate tank. Poor guy needs a high protein diet.
