I just put some more repashy in the big tank and saw my big L137 eating it. The silver dollars go crazy for the repashy morning wood so they’re the ones that usually eat it.
The big L190 still has yet to touch it. (That I’ve seen)
Haven’t seen any of the little plecos eat it but I don’t watch them as hard when I put that stuff in. I’ll have to watch next time.

that's great, there is also bottom scratcher which is more of an insectivore mix. In my experience plecos, otocinclus, hillstream loaches, and other suckermouth fish go crazy over it

I was looking at that one to try with my sunshine and L137 but the two royals (190,191) definitely need to get on this other one!!

not sure if mentioned on previous post. but another good idea is to tie a string onto your fork/skewer whatever you decide to use. so if they dont finish the food you can just pull the string instead of having to put your hand into the tank.

That’s genius!! Great suggestion, I usually just roll up my sleeves and get shoulder deep in the aquarium! Or wait till water change day lol.

WaterWaffle WaterWaffle here’s the thread about alternative food sources for plecos. Tons of good information on here so far and I welcome pictures!

My plecos enjoy watermelon, Pleco banquet block, and carrot.
The banquet block was just a cart filler to qualify for free shipping and I am pleased to see the plecos took to it pretty quickly.
The watermelon is a regular favorite, and the carrots are a new snack. I realized after I stuck it on the fork that they sink on their own!
