Ok, to clear it up. The actual real swimming fish are being sold as "Red Lion Hybrid Cichlids", as it says in the upper right corner.
The photo is of Jeff Rapp's male A. lyonsi. And it says "Looks something like this" covering the A. lyonsi scientific name and the copyright of Jeff Rapps.
The fish being sold are not lyonsi. They're hybrids. And I don't know why they say they're from Texas and Mexico, as the only cichlid native to Texas is H. cyano, and hybrids aren't native to anywhere.
I just found it in bad taste that the fish store took a photo of a very nice rare cichlid owned by Jeff Rapps, and slapped it on one of their hybrid tanks to help them sell.
Though there is the small chance that they are in fact lyonsi, but any store that had the real lyonsi would know them as such, correct?
