120 gallon plywood/acrylic tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
the tank is 24 inches tall the background that i bought was 18 inches tall but i bought extra to patchwork the rocks together to extend the original background up to the 24 inch height. i am about to add about 20 minnows to cycle the tank so i took the bala and the gromi out once the tank has cycled i will add the rest of the fish

well i decided to just go ahead and add all the fish. so i decided to take some pics of the tank and some of its inhabitants. ask and you shalt receive

also i added all the bio media from my old tank to the top of the bio tower in the new tank i hope that this will help jump start the tank and help seed the rest of the bio media

i need to get my drift wood in the tank and set up before i get it. but once i get that done i will wait a week to let the fish get accustom to it then i will get the turtle from my friend. it will be much happier in this tank currently it is staying in a 30 gallon tank with a couple bricks as a basking area

got a question for you all one of my rainbows sharks managed to get into the cage over the over flows should i be worried? it can get out it is small enough to get through the grid of the cage.

here is another interesting thing i have been watching the minnows that i added to the tank and they seam to like swimming into currents. i have seen several swim all the way into the under gravel jets and them pop back out here is a video of it if you do not believe me

3 days will be enough for the fish to get accustom to it. My convict and minnow only had an hour and they r doing great.. the turtle sounds like it is in a bad home, it'll be good to have it asap! :D
