Right, and how about more details; tank size and other inhabitants, filtration system.
There really is no need to use goldfish as food what with all the excellent fih pellets that are available.
i have pellets for him too he refuses them i retested nitrates its at 20ppm he is in a 75 gallon tank and he is gonna go into a pond soon and theres a fluval fx6 and a hob aquaclear 110 and he is a solo occupant

Just saw you said you saw some mouth fungus. Inside mouth. Pics would help. Also temp seems a little low. Has it been consistent 75?

I have 2 really nice kels like yours though smaller. Thus my interest. I'm not an expert so we need others to give input. Fish looks stressed.

Poor guy does not look like a happy camper in those photos, something definitely is not right with it.It should have been trained to take pellets a long time ago.It will never take them as long as you offer it feeders and I suspect that they are the cause of the problem.

i breed the feeders myself i know that they are safe

how would i go about pellet training
It is good that you breed the fish yourself but not to get into a feeder fish debate but goldfish are not very nutritious to begin with and it only takes one sick one to do your prized fish in.They are more trouble than they are worth in my opinion.
