Comparing them to Asian arows can only go so far. When was the last time you saw someone trunk to sell one natural looking? Doubtful. Nobody would wants the dull brown Asian arows - just the 'cool' non-natural color phases. Asian arow breeders are in no way worried about what nature had going... only in profit.
Same is starting to happen with rays. Some people will be in it for profit, some will be in it to preserve the natural state of them. Both sides need to work togeher so FW stingrays don't become an endagered species as well.
