i never killed any fish ive kept. i have sympathy for them even though they are just fish. we dont think its a big deal because they dont scream or yell or show emotion when they get hurt. they dont deserve this just because they did something wrong. its just CRUEL.

EDIT: please re-home your fish instead of killing it please.

oh they do scream. when i pulled the pufferfish out of the tank it let out this loud wail, bit me and caused me to bleed, and then was flushed

well it bit you because it was its natural instincts. wouldnt you bite someone in self defense?

the point wasnt on the bite it was on the fact that they scream

okay then if someone was to abduct you wouldn't you scream and yell? and never thought a puffer would scream. i would never put any animal in harm to make it scream.

u make it seem like i molested it or something when all i did was pull it out of the water first to move it to a solitary tank but then it screamed and bit me and so i figured it was a lost cause and flushed it. yes i would scream but the main point is that i never thought a fish could.

:WHOA:

if it screamed and bit you cause you was moving it to a solitary tank then commendable on your part at least you were trying to put it in a tank.

your post just gives a funny image

As an aside note chicken skin is in the corner that is closest to where I walk by and my 4 zebra tilapia have totally chilled out now that they are back in the 300g other than the small johani gettin his rear bit off, but hey my smaller fast reproducing cichlids are actually food for my tsn so no big loss.

I took the pics but have to wait till I get on my main pc to load them as I am on my laptop

Entertaining thread Chef! Some of the :screwy: response's from the tree-huggers makes me .

I've put down my share of problem fish. But between fishing for fun and feeding live feeders... I'd say 10,000 + fish have died at my hands. Many more to come...:nilly:

I agree with the guy that said, "punish the deed, not the breed".

this is absurd , anyone who can do this sort of thing is nuts , I question why poeple are into this hobby at all if they can take delight and even laugh at doing that sort of thing to an animal that is completely at your mercy . I understand that sometimes there is no other option , it is certainly something i hope never to have to do but at least have a little compassion , if this was about who has killed their dog /cat or other pet there would be uproar , i personally dont differentiate ,all my animals are my pets and are treated with the respect they deserve . not trying to have a go at anyone just my opinion ,
