While it might be visually distracting I would not worry about that small gap in the foam.

I dont know if the gap will "seal" up when it filled with water but I rather not take the chance. Have anyone overcome such a gap before without any precatuions?

The foam may squish down. You have glass aquariums that small gap won't cause any structural issues.

Finally the last wall is up. Really ****ty pictures but I just snapped one in a hurry. I had to move the wall 10cm due to a faulty ruler as well ??

I also received a treat coming all the way from Germany ?

I have ordered sumps and they will be done in 1-2 weeks. I'll do baffle less and just use poret foam as divider. The actual bio area will be 100 liters / 26 gallon filled with Poret and Matrix and the tanks themselves are 300 liter / 80 gallon.
In the "pump compartment" I´ll fit an additional pump which will feed a moving bed filter with K1, at least for the stingray tank. I´ll probably use 2 x Eheim 2260 for the smaller tank as the plans are for the moment. It will be drilled with dual 20mm overflows for the drip overflow with adjustable height.

Sorry about the pics and their untranslated pictures.

95% of the electrical done. It’s just (and buying) mounting the ambient lighting and connect it and install the exhaust fans. I need to paint the covers black as well ??

Tomorrow we’re on to finishing the outside of the last wall.
