Hey Guys I'm struggling to find the right pump to use for my returns. You seem to have all suggested the Jebao DC pumps but have any of you used the new Jebao DCS?? The older model is the Jebao DCP & DCT. My aquarium supply store (Big Als) is suggesting the Eflux however I'm reading bad reviews. I am also still figuring out how to size everything and waiting to hear about my overflow but at a minimum the ghost overflow allows for 2000GPH. I plan on likely doing the bean animal with two 1.5" drains and a 2" E drain. The returns would be 1" (would 3/4 be better?) and get drilled into the upper right and left of the tank.
The base of my sump to the top of my aquarium is 71.5" so counting for pipe and fittings we could say roughly 6.5" head loss to be safe I guess?
1" returns will be better than 3/4" for your needs.

1st - DC
2nd - DCT
3rd - DCS
4th - DCP
They have come out with a new model each year for the last four years.
You want two of the DCP 12000's. Best price I've found for them is Amazon or EBay.

Thanks man really appreciate the advice. I'm going to run two of them one to each return, do you have any advice on what speed or % to set them at in order to get a 6x or more turnover?
It's hard to find the DCP 12000 for some reason but the 10000 and the 15000 are more available. Would the 15000 be too much?
