Is an aimara as likely to initiate it tho... I'd say not, a 20" p would be a match for a 3ft aimara I think. How big to Aimara get proven?

Here, Aimara is massive lol

noone considered how aggro breeding pimas are. However, I've never heard of that happening in a tank...

Aimara 20" and up is what I'm referring to. That's when they become a beast. Attitude wise I'd say they're more likely to initiate it. Any wolf I ever have doesn't waste anytime attacking a new fish that enters its tank, where as p's seem more wary.

Only fish I've heard of handling an aimara is a dorado. Granted the aimara wasn't over 20". But the speed is what did it. That was greenerinks.

Glyphis get what ? 7-8 feet, why are people still touting little fish like mannys,Rhoms and aimara.
Even then it would lose to a E eel

Well it's a shark. What fish competes with a shark blow for blow? The strictly freshwater species is listed in fishbase maxing at 204cm

This. It could grows up to 3 meters and weights 130 kg. I don't think it's a living fossil (like a shark) for nothing. Armed with teeth and armored with scales that should be pierced with arrows.

It also could eats prey up to 1/3 of its size... which I think a 20"-30" fish would be that much of a problem IMO.

When comparing a black Rhom or manueli’s to an Aimara, (as previously stated) comes down to size. Any large aimara could breeze through every species of pirahna. Keep in mind just how large aimaras get.

Now when comparing a dorado to an aimara, that’s more of a battle. However, once an aimara gets to that size when it “turns on” ( +- 20”), I couldn’t see a dorado being a contender.

Bump on the Dorado vs Aimara, the two finalist. Should I make a new thread as the trilogy in this series focusing of those two?
