What WAS I thinking?

You can makE anything happen. I had to rearrange my entire room while my fiance was at work because I wanted to bring my redtail into my room. Red tails in the room but my other half made Me sleep on the coutch LOL anything can happen. Impossible isn't a word. IV seen people build ponds in their spare rooms with wood and tarps.
 
No room anywhere for a tank big enough. Mom wants those guppies dead and gone so She doesn't have to clean the tank and there won't be any dead fish.
 
^ No offense, but at that age, you pretty much have to suck it up and listen to what your parents are willing to let you do or not do inside of their house... if they really don't like fish, then you just gotta live with what you got and appreciate it... maybe if you can prove to them that you can actually care for your current stock by doing so, then they'll be more than happy to buy what you need (within reason)...
 
Even YOU would be sick of it if you had to carry buckets from the bathroom then find the aqua salt then the fish care blue then the chlorine killer and make sure you don't over dose them. Mum loves the guppies and they keep dieing. So you like one and the next day its dead. I understand why she doesn't like them. We are already pretty tight on money so.....
 
You dont know me so let me fill you in on something, i was changing water in a 60G tank for years with just a bucket, only after i moved out that i added hose access + drainage for water changes on my 200G...

Also, no offense, but if moneys tight then maybe fish keeping aint for you right now... Its a hobby that has on going costs and can add up pretty quick if anything goes wrong like what you're experiencing now...
