I noticed recently on my delhezi bichir that he has red marks on his underside. The almost look like cuts. He is housed with 3 other bichirs and 2 catfish. Is this something to stress over or will it heal over time?13645311364532

How’s ur water quality? Septicemia will show up like this as well. Is it acting normal? Would keep the water super clean. If it spreads w/in 24hrs then suggest qt and add maracyn2 or kanamycin.

The water is as clean as always. I normally do a 50 percent water change every other day. I will monitor it. Is it contagious?

Does that shape fit catfish mouth?
The cat has a pretty decent size mouth but it doesn't look like his mouth could make cuts like that. I thought maybe it was the spines on the sides of the cats fins. The cat usually keeps to himself
